Memorable Moment Bride:
My favorite moment of the wedding was walking down the aisle. The last person who went out the door was my sister (maid of honor) and her fiance, and before she walked out the door she turned around and mouthed “I love you”, was such a special moment. Then standing there with my dad looking out the windows of the door seeing all the people I love, and my groom standing there waiting for me. The look on Shawn’s face when they opened the doors for my entrance was filled with so much love. Such a special moment.
Also seeing how the venue all came together. It was already so beautiful, but we did a few small DIY projects to add personal touches to make the venue reflect us and our love of nature and the outdoors. Shawn cut and sanded the wood rounds that we used for the wedding cake base and carved our initials in it, the pane window that Shawn made from scratch for the seating assignments and menu that I wrote out, the wood rounds Shawn cut and sanded for the name cards, the flower arrangements I had made the day before, the family pictures I collected of every married couple who attended our wedding on their wedding day. Shawn set them all up the day of the wedding, and it was great seeing everything set up.
